FOUNDATION DAY : 16.9.2007 -- EWA : Alumni of Bishop Westcott Boys School & Girls School Namkum Ranchi, was founded on 16th of September 2007. Venue was Auditorium of BWBS. Nearly 120 Ex Students of both Boys and Girls Attended the Program /meeting. Executive committee was elected in presence of 120 members.

SPORTS DAY : IN BOTH SCHOOLS -- EWA : A Running trophy was introduced for best discipline house in both School by EWA. On Sports held in BWGS Best Discipline house trophy was given by Romi Chhabra, Jhooma Sarkar and Monisha Poddar and on Sports held in BWBS trophy was given by Dr Satish Midha and Sandeep Anand.

FIRST EVER RE-UNION OF WESTCOTTIANS : ALUMNI DAY 9.12.2007 : First ever Re-union of Ex- westcottians was held on 9.12.07, which was a great success. A day long program was held in two Sessions : Morning and Evening .
MORNING SESSION was held in BWGS from 10 AM onwards. Chief Guest of program was Senior Supt of Police Mr M S Bhatia. Cultural program was done by present students of Girls and Boys School followed by interaction between ex-westcottians, quiz program among EWA members. Ex-Teachers were also invited and were honored by EWA. Mr Vijay Shaw, Mr Dayal, Mr Bakshi Chand, Mrs. Mehra, Mrs. Horo, Miss Bright etc. The Morning secession concluded by Lunch at Dinning Hall of BWGS, along with Senior Students of BWGS.
EVENING SESSION was held in Auditorium of BWBS from 7pm onwards with live school band , dance in floor (in pattern of Social like in our days) silly games , silly quiz etc followed by Dinner. EWA members attended the program along with their spouse and children. Attendance was nearly 300.

VISIT TO BLIND SCHOOL : 26.12.2008 -- EWA : EWA visited St Michaels Blind School at Bahu Bazar Ranchi on 26th January and distributed necessities among Blind children’s like medicines, Bathing Soap, Washing Soap, Mugs, Buckets and snacks and sweet packets. EWA donated Rs 2000/- to Principal of Blind school as Railway Fare of 6 blind children going for blind Olympiad held in last week of Feb, 2009 at Haryana. 100 students from both school also attended the Program and did interaction with the Blind Children.

HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM AND BLOOD DONATION CAMP: 13.04.2008 -- EWA : EWA conducted Health Awareness Program with Blood Donation Camp at BWBS on 13.4.08. Some of eminent speakers were Dr S. C. Jain, Dr Satish Midha, Dr Shyamal Sarkar and Dr Vinay Dhandhaniya. EWA members donated 30 unit of Blood to Blood Bank.
